ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Alicia.
I'm passionate about canine companions and experienced with various breeds, personalities and needs. These include older dogs, puppies, rescue dogs, overweight dogs and unspayed females. I have had a number of dogs throughout childhood and I cherish the love they offer. There's nothing more enjoyable than seeing a happily wagging tail.

I have been providing dog care in East London and the City since 2018 and feel lucky to be doing something I truly love.

I'm a bit of a geek too and enjoy boning-up on all matters dog-related. I have a certificate in Puppy and Dog First Aid, carry a dog first aid kit, and have an interest in canine psychology and behaviourism. I'm also interested in the relatively new field of canine massage!

I have a fulfilling part-time career in London as an NHS speech and language therapist within the adult neurology field. however I realised that there's something just as equally important to me now, and that is to also pursue my passion for dogs alongside my love of neuro-rehabilitation.

My approach is highly personalised and tailored to each dog and owner. I treat each pet as an individual, following any instructions you provide me with to ensure the least amount of distress or disruption and the maximum amount of fun.
I believe in quality not quantity, so to ensure maximum enjoyment for my pooch clients, I focus more on small groups of 3-4 dogs at a time and only if I think they are compatible. I don't feel it's not always fair to walk in large packs where not all dogs are matched well - where's the fun in that? I may also be able to walk 1:1, subject to availability.
If your dog is sociable, don't worry, they will be encouraged to seek out other dogs in the park, with the knowledge that they will also have lots of 1:1 attention from me - a perfect balance.

I'm enthusiastic, loving and responsible and I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Please do contact me if you have questions.

My working (dog) days are Thursdays and Fridays. Occasional weekend walks may be available.
